On Thursday the 1st of April room 6 created a wooden waka. We got the materials from the maritime museum. This is my waka I made. It didint take that long it just took a few minutes to make. I didint have an idea to use for the flags so I just drew the ocean and on top I did a sunset.

Tapa art
On Wednesday the 10th of march 2021 room 6 were doing art with Mrs cox. Mrs cox is a teacher that really loves art. We were doing art that was called tapa art. We needed a peace of paper to draw a design. We all had to draw something on the center on the page. Some of us drew a flower and some of us drew a turtle. We worked on the art until it was morning tea. After morning tea we went back to working on the tapa art. Once we were done drawing we started to use vivid to make our drawing darker because we were using die on our art. It was finally time to die our art. We had to wait for our turn to die our art. While we were waiting we had to do something quiet.

We had to use pastels to colour the image, but the image you thought about has to be black. We had to do pastel blending on our art. We had to colour the background first then he had to do the image.
